Grace: It's Our Way of Life

As Episcopal Christians we
Worship at home daily and together weekly;
Study the Scriptures, our tradition, and what it means to be a disciple today;
Serve our families, our parish, and our world in the name of Christ.

Everything we do is done with an ethic of Welcome
because we are only here by Grace.

The Coming of Aunt Mae - The Day of Pentecost - Year B - 24 May 2015

The Very Rev Daniel P Richards proclaims this Pentecost Day from the gospel of John and the coming of the Advocate. Richards shows the entire salvation history pointing to this new creation and the coming of the Holy Spirit to the Church through Torah, Temple, Prophets, and Christ. Through the Holy Spirit we are now the temple of God. We are all now priests. Are we open enough to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit in the voice of others? Aunt Mae is a spiritual advocate....

The Collect

Almighty God, on this day you opened the way of eternal life to every race and nation by the promised gift of your Holy Spirit: Shed abroad this gift throughout the world by the preaching of the Gospel, that it may reach to the ends of the earth; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
