Grace: It's Our Way of Life

As Episcopal Christians we
Worship at home daily and together weekly;
Study the Scriptures, our tradition, and what it means to be a disciple today;
Serve our families, our parish, and our world in the name of Christ.

Everything we do is done with an ethic of Welcome
because we are only here by Grace.

The Very Rev Daniel P Richard proclaims how Jesus is teaching a new way of thinking and living. He starts with a pencil. He notes how our current view of the Word - the logos - Jesus has been relegated in this culture from true knowledge to faith being some other thing than knowledge. Peter makes the mistake of using the cultural view of Messiah as King rather than Jesus and the way of the Cross.

Proverbs 1:20-33

The Collect

O God, because without you we are not able to please you, mercifully grant that your Holy Spirit may in all things direct and rule our hearts; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
