Grace: It's Our Way of Life

As Episcopal Christians we
Worship at home daily and together weekly;
Study the Scriptures, our tradition, and what it means to be a disciple today;
Serve our families, our parish, and our world in the name of Christ.

Everything we do is done with an ethic of Welcome
because we are only here by Grace.

The Rev Katheryn King really begins our summer season of the readings of Pentecost. (These summer readings can be viewed as a handbook on discipleship.) Tonight she reflects on the Mark text of the revolutionary (or crazy) view of Jesus of who are members of his family. We learn with Jesus we are to find ourselves and follow him into God’s full family.

The Collect

O God, from whom all good proceeds: Grant that by your inspiration we may think those things that are right, and by your merciful guiding may do them; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
