Grace: It's Our Way of Life

As Episcopal Christians we
Worship at home daily and together weekly;
Study the Scriptures, our tradition, and what it means to be a disciple today;
Serve our families, our parish, and our world in the name of Christ.

Everything we do is done with an ethic of Welcome
because we are only here by Grace.

Kingship – Second Sunday after Pentecost - Proper 5 – Year B

The Very Rev Daniel P Richards explores the three sayings Mark 3 and mourns with us over the loss of kingship of God. We have failed in our own need to have earthly kings when the universe was designed to have God as King. He speaks to the lack of authority that the idols of our day have ultimate in the Rule of God. We reject a kingship of mercy, forgiveness, blessing, courage, peace, justice, and love as Jesus said and worship killing, greed, fear, war, and hate at all its levels.

The Collect

O God, from whom all good proceeds: Grant that by your inspiration we may think those things that are right, and by your merciful guiding may do them; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
