Grace: It's Our Way of Life

As Episcopal Christians we
Worship at home daily and together weekly;
Study the Scriptures, our tradition, and what it means to be a disciple today;
Serve our families, our parish, and our world in the name of Christ.

Everything we do is done with an ethic of Welcome
because we are only here by Grace.

Sermon on the Raising of Lazarus.  Looking at the interactions of Jesus, first with the disciples, then Martha and Mary, and finally the crowd. We don't get it.  We get it but keep it in our heads with the Bible and good theology.  We get it and let our hearts be broken and made whole by the one who loves us.  We set each other free.  We learn to live as human beings.  This is a powerful story of new life for all of us.  But it has so much to teach us along the way of Christ.

Ezekiel 37:1-14

Psalm 130

The Collect
Almighty God, you alone can bring into order the unruly wills and affections of sinners: Grant your people grace to love what you command and desire what you promise; that, among the swift and varied changes of the world, our hearts may surely there be fixed where true joys are to be found; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
