Grace: It's Our Way of Life

As Episcopal Christians we
Worship at home daily and together weekly;
Study the Scriptures, our tradition, and what it means to be a disciple today;
Serve our families, our parish, and our world in the name of Christ.

Everything we do is done with an ethic of Welcome
because we are only here by Grace.

Sermon, Pentecost 26, Proper 28, Year C, 17 November 2013 - The Gospel of Judgement Day and Stewardship

One sermon in two movements, the first is the Gospel of Judgement and how we miss the good news of the coming of God, and the second sermon in the Gospel of Preparation by Stewardship.  Resets our understanding of sin and theology.  People laugh a lot.

The Collect

Blessed Lord, who caused all holy Scriptures to be written for our learning: Grant us so to hear them, read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest them, that we may embrace and ever hold fast the blessed hope of everlasting life, which you have given us in our Savior Jesus Christ; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
