Grace: It's Our Way of Life

As Episcopal Christians we
Worship at home daily and together weekly;
Study the Scriptures, our tradition, and what it means to be a disciple today;
Serve our families, our parish, and our world in the name of Christ.

Everything we do is done with an ethic of Welcome
because we are only here by Grace.

Sermon, Pentecost 24, Proper 26, Year C, 3 November 2013 - Zaccheaus and Jesus Dust PLUS Faith and Money from Ann Hackett and Kimberly Nicholson

Sermon on the Zaccheaus story and what we might ask as disciples of Jesus who should be able to get it and enjoy what Christ is doing.  Are we covered in the dust of our Master? The video mentioned in the sermon is linked below.

NOOMA - Dust by Rob Bell

PLUS Ann Hackett and Kimberly Nicholson give us two very different pictures of faith and stewardship as they very honestly lay out their struggles to find a faithful and cheerful response to the call.

Habakkuk 1:1-4; 2:1-4
Psalm 119:137-144
2 Thessalonians 1:1-4, 11-12
Luke 19:1-10

The Collect
Almighty and merciful God, it is only by your gift that your faithful people offer you true and laudable service: Grant that we may run without stumbling to obtain your heavenly promises; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
