Sermon on how God is not merely the Force from Star Wars, okay, not the Force at all. God is the Creator and Lover, Abba of Christ. God has to be understood as being with and for us, which only makes sense as God is Creator and Lover. God wants to abide with us and for us to be his children, loving as God loves. This is what is revealed in Christ, and our Gospel today is a moment of his training his disciples to be that compassion of God.
