Grace: It's Our Way of Life
As Episcopal Christians we
Worship at home daily and together weekly;
Study the Scriptures, our tradition, and what it means to be a disciple today;
Serve our families, our parish, and our world in the name of Christ.
Everything we do is done with an ethic of Welcome
because we are only here by Grace.

Sermon, Lent II, Year B, 4 March 2012 - Covenants, Old and New, and Son of God, Son of Man, More than a Title, The Dream of God
The titles Son of God and Son of Man, the Very Rev. contends, are properly understood in Jesus' ministry and calling to his followers and us. We worship him, but he calls us to follow him by becoming like God in compassion, mercy, forgiveness, grace and knowing that our humanity at its fullest dignity and maturity will cost us dearly. So take up your cross.
