Grace: It's Our Way of Life

As Episcopal Christians we
Worship at home daily and together weekly;
Study the Scriptures, our tradition, and what it means to be a disciple today;
Serve our families, our parish, and our world in the name of Christ.

Everything we do is done with an ethic of Welcome
because we are only here by Grace.

Planting Seeds - Third Sunday After Pentecost - Year B - 14 June 2015

Third Sunday After Pentecost from Mackinac Video Productions on Vimeo.

The Very Rev Daniel P Richards harkens to his agricultural roots to explain Jesus’ famous parable of the mustard seed and the tedium it sometimes take to watch a seed grow. Is it worth it? As we do ministry as disciples of Jesus, do we have the eyes of God to see how God’s tedium (God’s slowly revealing ministry) may impact others for generations? Can we plant the seeds of forgiveness and watch them grow?

The Collect

Keep, O Lord, your household the Church in your steadfast faith and love, that through your grace we may proclaim your truth with boldness, and minister your justice with compassion; for the sake of our Savior Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
