Grace: It's Our Way of Life

As Episcopal Christians we
Worship at home daily and together weekly;
Study the Scriptures, our tradition, and what it means to be a disciple today;
Serve our families, our parish, and our world in the name of Christ.

Everything we do is done with an ethic of Welcome
because we are only here by Grace.

Twentieth Sunday After Pentecost
from Mackinac Video Productions on Vimeo.

The Very Rev Daniel P Richards proclaims the gospel of Mark and the teachings of Jesus with this young righteous man question of how to gain eternal life. Jesus loves this man as God loves all, but asks him to free himself to shackles of possessions and be with Jesus. Can we release ourselves from the shackles of our souls?

Revised Common Lectionary readings for this Sunday:

The Collect

Lord, we pray that your grace may always precede and follow us, that we may continually be given to good works; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
