Grace: It's Our Way of Life

As Episcopal Christians we
Worship at home daily and together weekly;
Study the Scriptures, our tradition, and what it means to be a disciple today;
Serve our families, our parish, and our world in the name of Christ.

Everything we do is done with an ethic of Welcome
because we are only here by Grace.

Sterile & Clean - 14th Sunday After Pentecost - Year B - 30 August 2015

The Very Rev Daniel P Richards speaks to the John and James text in the context of an American culture that is almost phobic about being sterile and clean. He speaks to how practices either religious or otherwise can overshadow our divine relationship and be reduced to being judgmental of people who do not act like us.

Revised Common Lectionary for the Fourteenth Sunday after Pentecost:

The Collect

Lord of all power and might, the author and giver of all good things: Graft in our hearts the love of your Name; increase in us true religion; nourish us with all goodness; and bring forth in us the fruit of good works; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.
