Grace: It's Our Way of Life

As Episcopal Christians we
Worship at home daily and together weekly;
Study the Scriptures, our tradition, and what it means to be a disciple today;
Serve our families, our parish, and our world in the name of Christ.

Everything we do is done with an ethic of Welcome
because we are only here by Grace.

Blessed to Teach and Heal - Eighth Sunday After Pentecost - Year B - 18 July 2015

The Very Rev Daniel P Richards shares his story of doing a marathon trail run last week in the context of the bible lessons for this weekend. We, as blessed people, regardless of the trials set before us, are called by Jesus as one of his disciples to tear down divisions and walls, heal and teach, and live the grateful life.

The Collect

Almighty God, the fountain of all wisdom, you know our necessities before we ask and our ignorance in asking: Have compassion on our weakness, and mercifully give us those things which for our unworthiness we dare not, and for our blindness we cannot ask; through the worthiness of your Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
