Grace: It's Our Way of Life

As Episcopal Christians we
Worship at home daily and together weekly;
Study the Scriptures, our tradition, and what it means to be a disciple today;
Serve our families, our parish, and our world in the name of Christ.

Everything we do is done with an ethic of Welcome
because we are only here by Grace.

Liturgy and Worship from A New Zealand Book of Common Prayer - Fourth Sunday of Easter - 25 April 2015

As part of its 2015 series on Global Liturgies, the 500 pm Saturday worship community at Grace Episcopal Church of Traverse City, Michigan celebrates and worships a liturgy from the New Zealand Book of Common Prayer this Saturday.

Each month a member of our worship community communicates with an Anglican Parish somewhere in the world and creates a worship experience. That parish is also co-celebrating with us this weekend. Kate Wood arranged this liturgy for our use. We worship with All Saints Anglican Church in Nelson.

All Saints Anglican Church in Nelson, New Zealand has been worshiping for over 150 years. From their website All Saints is ...

A Community of Hope

For over 150 years people who have belonged to this church have been united together in expressing the grace and love of God to those around them.

The area has changed in many ways, but the needs in our communities have stayed much the same: education, work, refuge and belonging. Sadly, many of these things are in short supply in our city.

All Saints exists to bring hope to people in this area through Jesus.

They serve the community with many outreach ministries and worship on Sundays at 9:00 am and 10:30 am (local).
