Grace: It's Our Way of Life

As Episcopal Christians we
Worship at home daily and together weekly;
Study the Scriptures, our tradition, and what it means to be a disciple today;
Serve our families, our parish, and our world in the name of Christ.

Everything we do is done with an ethic of Welcome
because we are only here by Grace.

Sermon, Easter 5, 18 May 2014 - Two of the Three Mysteries of the Last Discourse and a Story about a Donut

Sermon on two of the three great mysteries of John's Gospel's last supper teachings by Jesus to his disciples: God known in servanthood, God known in relationship, and the third is God known in suffering-leading-to-salvation which is vital but deeper than this one sermon can go.  It all leads up to a story that really happened at a donut shop.  And yes, maple bacon donuts from Serious Donuts in Traverse City are that amazingly good.  And yes, Amy is mad that I ate one (or several).
