Grace: It's Our Way of Life

As Episcopal Christians we
Worship at home daily and together weekly;
Study the Scriptures, our tradition, and what it means to be a disciple today;
Serve our families, our parish, and our world in the name of Christ.

Everything we do is done with an ethic of Welcome
because we are only here by Grace.

Sermon, Easter 2, 27 April 2014 - Resurrection, Re-Creation, and Doubt with Gospel and Welcome

Sermon with Gospel before for context and welcome to the table after for reminder.  Here in John we get the re-making of humanity, the re-creation of human being in the disciples by Jesus breathing on them.  We explore three mysteries and their implications and then look at doubt, the good and the bad.  It is a long sermon for us, but an important one.

The Collect
Almighty and everlasting God, who in the Paschal mystery established the new covenant of reconciliation: Grant that all who have been reborn into the fellowship of Christ's Body may show forth in their lives what they profess by their faith; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
