Grace: It's Our Way of Life

As Episcopal Christians we
Worship at home daily and together weekly;
Study the Scriptures, our tradition, and what it means to be a disciple today;
Serve our families, our parish, and our world in the name of Christ.

Everything we do is done with an ethic of Welcome
because we are only here by Grace.

Sermon, Proper 29, Year A, 20 Nov 2011 - Christ the King

Christ the King Sermon in which we are invited into the restaurant, not to eat only, but to learn to cook with Flo, because there is a hungry world out there. We are reminded that we are disciples who follow, stewards who do God's business in the world, because we are children of God through the Grace of Jesus Christ and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

Ezekiel 34:11-16, 20-24
Psalm 95:1-7
Ephesians 1:15-23
Matthew 25:31-46

*A note that the story about the restaurant is fictional. I often obscure some of the personal information in stories so that the privacy of the people involved is maintained, but Flo is just plain made up. I thought that was clear, but some people at the early service were not sure.
