Everything we do is done with an ethic of Welcome
because we are only here by Grace.

Sermon, Pentecost IX, Proper 15, Year A, 2011 - Backpacks and Growing Up


Sermon in which the Very Rev. Daniel P. Richards reminds us that as Christians we are called to grow up and become adults, which means that we take responsibility for ourselves and for others, so we can't carry some little under-sized daypack in life. We must be able to carry more, empowered by Christ through his Spirit.
