The Very Rev. Daniel P. Richards explores the Gospel of John's account of the Raising of Lazarus from the dead. He calls us to not pretend that we are the dead, but consider ourselves like Mary, Martha, and the congregation at the tomb. We are called into relationship with God who responds to us individually, and loves us each uniquely, but also calls us beyond ourselves to set others free, to get our hands dirty, to unbind the once dead.
