Grace: It's Our Way of Life

As Episcopal Christians we
Worship at home daily and together weekly;
Study the Scriptures, our tradition, and what it means to be a disciple today;
Serve our families, our parish, and our world in the name of Christ.

Everything we do is done with an ethic of Welcome
because we are only here by Grace.

Sermon, Epiphany IV, Year A, 2011

Sermon in which the Very Rev. Daniel P. Richards brings us into the Sermon on the Mount through the Beatitudes. Taking just a couple of the Beatitudes and looking at what Jesus is promising and introducing in the whole Sermon, Daniel opens up the text with stories and examples from life.

A Note from Daniel: I didn't really test drive the car over 120 mph, the pastor in the "poor in spirit" story was the Rev. Dr. J. Alfred Smith, Jr., whom I still honor.

You really should read Matthew 5-7 to be ready for the next few weeks.
