Sermon, the second in the Advent Series, in which the Very Rev. Daniel Richards reminds us that we are to be a people of the Logic of Hope. Hope is a virtue that must be earned and practiced through our prayer, study, and service. We must learn to think and act with hope. This thinking and acting are borne out in our laying all things at the feet of Christ, study of the Scriptures that remind us of our identity and future reality, and our serving the lost and hopeless as a sign of God's grace to us being passed out by us.
