Sermon + Stewardship, Christ the King Sunday, Proper 29, Year C, 2010


Consecration Sunday Sermon where parishioners of Grace are encouraged to turn in their pledges for 2011. This year's preacher was Dave Eitland, Director of Development and Marketing for the Grand Traverse Bay YMCA. Dave points us to his own story of God's gifts and ultimately on Christ the King Sunday to the gift of life in the death of his Son.

It has been a real honor to have Dave Eitland preach at Grace, and he has been a real Barnabas for me this last year, getting the vision of this place and pointing beyond me to that vision and God's call for both Grace and for me. I am a fan and you will be too.
