This sermon has the Gospel in front of it as it is read at 8 a.m., which seems appropriate, no? For those who are not Episcopal or mainline (I just read the phrase "continuing churches" somewhere), the Lectionary is a three year cycle of readings that takes the parish through the Scriptures. We use the Revised Common Lectionary, which is the most broadly used in Western Christendom. It isn't perfect, you can hear me complain occasionally in sermons, but it is great for keeping you out of ruts.
